As humanoids in this physical world, we all try to "make
things happen" on our own - it's a control kind of thing...

we shall receive, thereby eliminating frustration, eliminating fear, eliminating
the heartburn we get from trying to do everything on our own - not to mention
the disappointment of failure....
We must allow God to guide us, He always has
