The Prayer Wheel
The 
‘Prayer Wheel’ is an excellent way to clear the mind and focus on a task at 
hand, calm ourselves after conflict, wake up and focus when we’re tired, or just 
relieve the stress of the day. To perform the Prayer Wheel, place hands together 
in front of the chest, as if in prayer. Breathe in deeply as you lift your hands 
up over your head, then around to each respective side, exhaling as they go down 
and back around to the prayer position. Repeat this process as many times as you 
want or need.
My grandmother used the Prayer Wheel exercise to lower her 
blood pressure before open heart surgery - it worked!
